Patients

The Patients page is your list of every animal you’ve seen. Each patient row links to a profile with vitals, history, and every past encounter.

Adding a patient

Click Add Patient in the top right. Name, species, breed, and owner are the only required fields — the rest can be filled in later (or auto-filled from a recording).

Patient profile

Open a patient to see everything about them in one place:

  • Demographics — name, species, breed, age, sex, microchip
  • Vitals — weight, temperature, heart rate trends across visits
  • History — every encounter tied to this patient, newest first

Prior visit context

When you start a new encounter for an existing patient, Noctune pulls relevant context from prior visits into the SOAP note’s drafting — so ongoing conditions and medications show up in the assessment without you having to dictate them again.

Editing and deleting

Every field on the profile is editable inline. The three-dot menu in the header has Delete Patient — this also removes the tie from past encounters but leaves the encounters themselves intact.
